Co-Sponsored by: The US Department of Energy ASHRAE IEA ECBCS Annex 46 This seventh annual energy technology workshop was designed for building energy managers, design engineers and architects, contractors, decision-makers, energy auditors and Energy Services Companies. Previous workshops in Orlando (2005), Chicago (2006), Dallas (2007), New York (2008), Chicago (2009), and Orlando (2010) brought together U.S. and international facility energy experts. The workshops provided a forum to share information on different national and international energy saving technologies, and measures for new buildings and building retrofits.
The 2011 7th annual government
building energy efficiency technology workshop was conducted in conjunction
with the 2011 ASHRAE Winter Conference (January 29 – February 2), with the
theme of the workshop being energy efficiency optimization for individual
buildings and multi-building sites in combination with appropriate renewable
systems.
